Participants wanted: New audio study in the Berlin Open Lab
Together with the Audio Communication and Technical Acoustics departments at the Technical University of Berlin, we are currently working on testing psychoacoustic parameters for innovative noise reduction strategies on behalf of the Federal Highway Research Institute. We want to investigate which aspects of road traffic noise people find annoying and how exposure to road traffic noise can be reduced efficiently.
To this end, we are conducting a new study at the Berlin Open Lab (near Ernst-Reuter-Platz, Charlottenburg) from mid-May to the beginning of July. You can experience and evaluate various recordings of road traffic situations in a hearing simulator. Up to 4 test participants can take part at the same time. The test lasts approx. 1.5 hours. You will receive 20 euros in compensation or alternatively test subject hours.
If you would like to take part in our study, please use the following link to register for an appointment: Link no longer available
Please note: Up to 4 people can take part in an appointment at the same time. (All persons will wear a mask during the entire appointment.) Therefore, 4 slots are available in the appointment tool for each appointment. Please select only one (1) appointment.
If there is no suitable date for you, please contact us personally by e-mail: studien@human-factors-consult.de. We will then find an individual date for you.
Thank you very much for your interest!
