We would like to reflect on two personal highlights from this year during the festive season.

First: Accessibility and inclusion are moving forward. The inclusion of all people in all aspects of social participation is making noticeable progress, and we have been able to contribute to this: We are an examination centre for the IAAP (International Association of Accessibility Professionals) for the D-A-CH region. Teachers take the accessibility in teaching exam at our centre. In addition, the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG) has been applicable since 28 June 2025. Second: There is progress when it comes to noise. Noise remains one of the leading environmentally related health risks, but we see a clear trend towards improvement. We do our part by helping to better understand the psychological effects of annoying sounds and to derive suitable measures from this. You can find out more in our reports for BASt and UBA.
