Accessibility
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) requires all member states to implement the act into their national legislation by June 28, 2025. From this date, most European companies will have to ensure that their products and services are designed to be barrier-free in accordance with the requirements specified in the law and the associated ordinance.
Accessibility is good for everyone
People with and without disabilities, seniors, parents with prams, tourists with suitcases or immigrants who speak a different language. It is therefore important to us to always design technology in a way that it can be used equally easily and intuitively by everyone and offers a positive user experience. If accessibility is considered holistically from the very beginning of the design process for a system or product, it can be implemented without much additional effort.
Accessibility is not just a label for us, but an attitude.
In line with the Design for All approach, as in all our projects, the users are the focus of our attention: we design, develop and research together with the users, for the users. The usefulness, accessibility and usability of products, interfaces and processes are always the focus of our work.
Our expertise
Our many years of technical and methodological experience in the areas of accessibility, usability and user experience, as well as in diverse application areas such as mobility, traffic safety and robotics, provide a comprehensive basis for supporting you in implementing accessible systems and interfaces. We use the resulting synergies to offer our customers and research partners customised methods and advice for the entire development process, ensuring that all users are included. We design all the solutions, methods and data collection instruments in an accessible way.
